What is an apprenticeship?
Apprenticeships combine paid, practical industry learning with a nationally recognised qualification with a registered training organisation (RTO), like Chisholm.
An apprenticeship is usually full-time but can be part-time and must be a permanent position. Depending on the industry, an apprenticeship may take three to six years to complete.
An apprentice is employed and paid while they learn, including time spent at TAFE. Once the apprenticeship is complete, the apprentice becomes a qualified tradesperson.
