Our Success and Wellbeing team are here to support you as an individual - whether it’s your study, making friends, your finances or housing issues.

This service can be a point of referral into our other services – if you aren’t sure where to start, but feel like you might need some support, our Student Success and Wellbeing Officers will be the best people to chat to.

The Success and Wellbeing team can directly provide support across a range of areas.

Wellbeing services include:

  • Life/study balance
  • Study skills and time management
  • Housing (e.g.: navigating the rental market)
  • Links to culturally appropriate services
  • Support with remote learning
  • Physical wellbeing
  • Social connection within community
  • General personal life concerns that impact you
  • Links to services available at Chisholm
  • Links to external support agencies.

We also provide financial support services, including:

  • Budgeting assistance
  • Managing your expenses (e.g.: life and study expenses, rent)
  • Improving your finance knowledge
  • Assistance with Centrelink payments
  • Scholarship opportunities
  • Referrals to external support in the community
  • Short-term support when facing financial issues
