A Diploma of Remedial Massage qualification prepares you for an entry-level remedial massage therapist role.

This extensive program teaches in-depth practical skills and knowledge in massage treatment. You'll learn to perform consultations, set goals and develop individualised assessment and treatment plans to meet clients' needs.

The course covers Swedish, deep tissue and sports massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial techniques and stretching and muscle energy techniques. You'll also learn skills in developing business plans and reading and interpreting healthcare research.

You'll complete at least 200 hours of supervised practice in our student massage clinic. At our clinic, you'll assess and treat members of the public guided by our experienced clinic supervision team.

This course is nationally recognised by professional associations and peak bodies, allowing you to register as a Remedial Massage provider and be eligible for provider status with all major health funds.
