Learn to support the development of children through quality education and care

According to Jobs and Skills Australia, there is a shortage of early childhood education workers. Prepare for an in-demand role in this growing sector with a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and make your impact on the next generation.

The Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care can provide entry-level job options. Work in early childhood centres, home-based care, or school-based environments. Or go on to study higher-level courses while employed within the field.

Traineeships are a great way to get paid while you earn a qualification. You'll get to combine work-based training with formal theory training from Chisholm.

The program teaches the fundamentals of early childhood education for children from birth to five years old. You'll gain the core skills to support holistic learning and development, which focuses on their health, safety and wellbeing.

Successful completion of this course can allow you to further your studies. You could even continue to study nationally recognised diploma and bachelor-level qualifications.

Enrolling in this course requires employment at an early childhood centre. You will need a formal training agreement between yourself and your employer.

Please note: The information on this page is for trainees only. View the non-traineeship version of this course.
