Children’s Book Illustration

This course is designed for beginners who are interested in learning the fundamentals of children's book illustration. Over 3 sessions students will learn the industry standards for picture book illustration, basic character design and suitable mediums.

A small collection of illustrations suitable for a portfolio will be completed during the course.

  • What to bring
    All brushes, paints paper will be provided.
    Personal brushes and paints can be brought to class. Digital media such as an iPad can be brought (the teacher can instruct for Procreate)
