Start Sketching

This course is designed for creative people interested in starting a regular practice of recording their creative ideas and observations.

Over 4 sessions students will be given the opportunity to explore different mediums (such as graphite, charcoal, watercolour and pen) to record observations. The sessions will be guided by an experienced artist.

By the end of the course each student will have a sketch journal of vibrant drawings to continue their creative practice.

You will learn:

• Understanding how different mediums work for sketching.
• Using wet and dry mediums
• Exploring different ways of looking and recording
• Developing a creative habit.
