Support people in their recovery from substance dependency and make a lasting impact

Gain the knowledge and skills to empower people struggling with alcohol and other drug (AOD) issues. In Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs, you’ll learn a diverse range of services designed to assist clients. These include implementing community interventions and health promotions.

This comprehensive course helps you get job-ready. With guidance from experienced professionals, you’ll get hands-on training through simulated work environments.

Potential job outcomes include work in community-based organisations, withdrawal services, rehabilitation services, and outreach services under the guidance of other practitioners. Other employment options may be working as a health professional support worker in a rehabilitation unit or AOD outreach work.

Upon successful completion, you can continue your studies. Further qualifications can include a Diploma of AOD, a Diploma of Mental Health, a Diploma of Community Services, a Diploma of Youth Work, and a Bachelor of Community Mental Health & AOD.
