Australia is known for sports and recreation and offers various exciting and rewarding occupation opportunities.
A Diploma of Sport will prepare you for many roles in the field. You could gain facilitator roles at community-based sports clubs or sports organisations. You could also pursue jobs like a high-performance coach, sports development manager, or talent manager. Whatever your goal, this recognised qualification provides the best start in your career.
Learn the skills you need to work autonomously in your role, coordinate others and provide leadership and support to colleagues. You'll study units in sports psychology, talent identification, training and recovery and business risk, to name a few.
The skills required for this qualification must be applied in accordance with Commonwealth and State or Territory legislation, Australian standards, and industry codes of practice.
Specific industry accreditation requirements may apply to sport-specific coaching accreditation. Information should be obtained from the relevant National Sporting Organisation (NSO).

Chisholm courses are subject to minimum and maximum group numbers. Courses may be cancelled or postponed if minimum numbers are not achieved by the start date of the course. Courses may close prior to the start date if the maximum numbers are reached. In that situation, eligible applicants will be offered a place in the next available intake.
