In line with the Chisholm Campus Master Plan (2021), the Dandenong Redevelopment Project (DRP) is a three staged program of works aimed to consolidate and enhance the student, industry and staff user experience. The construction of the new Plumbing Examination Centre locates the facility within the Trade Centre precinct and offers new, state of the art facilities for plumbing students. The old Building E and its outbuildings have been demolished to increase the accessibility through the campus.

The new Plumbing Examination Centre (Building E) provides examination facilities for plumbing apprentices. Testing facilities include gas & water stations, roof flashing / irrigation workstations, a sandpit, suspended drainage workstations and gas appliances. The building is now located within the Trade Centre precinct adjacent to Building K.
