Combine working with learning your journey to becoming an IT expert
Open up a world of career opportunities in ICT by completing a traineeship in an ICT workplace. You'll earn a salary while you learn the theoretical elements with formal training from Chisholm.
The comprehensive Certificate III in Information Technology prepares you for employment as a computer technician, user support specialist or client support officer. Upon successful completion of the traineeship, you will be able to respond effectively to technical support needs in your workplace.
You'll gain the skills to provide ICT support to clients, create ICT user documentation, care for computer hardware, provide basic system administration and apply introductory programming techniques. You'll learn to work as a team and develop and extend critical and creative thinking skills.
You must be employed within the ICT industry with a registered training contract between yourself and your employer before you enrol. Traineeships are a great way to be paid for work, learn and earn a qualification.
Please note: The information on the page is for trainees only. View the non-traineeship version of this course.
