Learn about the benefits and practice of art therapy
Discover how art therapy can enhance your professional practice within the fields of health and community care. Alternatively, you can attend this series of workshops as a form of self-development.
This course would benefit play therapists, art therapists, psychologists, social workers, counsellors, case workers, child and family workers and health professionals working or intending to work with creative media in counselling, teaching and group work settings.
The workshops in Art Therapy - Health & Wellbeing will cover the following topics:
- Managing stress using creative arts therapy processes
- Working with adolescents using art therapy techniques
- Managing change and uncertainty using creative arts processes
- Improving self-esteem using art therapy techniques
- Narrative story telling techniques
- Art therapy and mental health.
After successfully completing this course, you will receive a Statement of Attendance.
We offer four art therapy courses. You might like to also check out our other courses using the links below. There are no prerequisites to these courses. You can undertake one or all of the courses, separately and in any order.
