Learn core skills in accounting and bookkeeping and be ready to start a career with strong earning and employment potential. Chisholm's unique pathway can help you pave the way from a certificate to a degree in accounting accredited by CPA Australia and Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (CAANZ).
With a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, you'll get hands-on learning in manual and computerised accounting using Xero and MYOB.
The course is designed to align with professional practice. Experienced teachers will provide industry perspective on topics and work-simulated scenarios. You'll gain essential knowledge and skills in accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, tax, payroll, and the preparation of BAS/IAS and other financial statements.
Upon successful completion of this course and the required work experience, you'll meet the educational requirements for registration as a Business Activity Statement (BAS) agent within Australia.
