The Diploma of Accounting is for individuals who want to undertake further studies in accounting after completing the Certificate IV of Accounting and Bookkeeping. In this program, you will develop advanced skills in income tax, management accounting, budgeting and forecasting, performance analysis, financial reporting and leadership. 

The course introduces students to a range of common accounting specialist job roles. These roles include bookkeeper/BAS agent, assistant accountant, payroll officer or accounts clerk. It can also be a stepping stone to more advanced qualifications.

Once you successfully complete this course, you'll qualify to be accredited by the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) and the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT).
