  Physical:
  You must be able to stand unassisted and be able to hold your arms at shoulder height for long periods. You must be comfortable with working one-on-one and closely with people of all genders
  
  Cognitive/Emotional:
  You are required to communicate with clients including challenging behaviors or situations. You may require emotional flexibility and stability to cater for varying client needs and the ability to handle general stressors meeting deadlines, managing expectations and task management.
  
  Experience:
  You must have basic skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, internet and email and have access to a computer and/or tablet device
  
  Industry:
  Good communication is crucial. You will be required to work on paying clients over various hours that include late nights and on weekends.

  Language, literacy and numeracy

  You are required to complete a language, literacy and numeracy skills test before course commencement. This will determine course suitability and if you may need additional support.
  
  We use an approved online skills review tool to determine your language, literacy and numeracy skills within the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF).

  There are no practical placement requirements for this course.

• Simulated work environment

  You will learn from industry teachers in state-of-the-art facilities. Our student Mysa Salon and Spa provides you with hands-on experience working with real clients under supervision.
  
  Mysa Salon and Spa is considered a real work environment and the salon policies and procedures must be followed.
