Use your creativity and eye for detail and become an apprentice barber

Get started in the creative and dynamic field of barbering and be inspired by expert educators. Barbers help people look and feel their best. They build strong long-term relationships with clients and impact lives for the better.

The Certificate III in Barbering apprenticeship course provides you with hands-on industry-specific barber training. It allows you to earn while you learn and prepares you with the skills and confidence to work with clients.

You'll work with your employer four days a week and learn in our state-of-the-art training salon, Mysa Salon and Spa, one day a week.

At Mysa, you'll gain practical skills working with real-life clients. You'll provide customised barbering services under the supervision of salon staff and industry-experienced, qualified barbers.

The course teaches the latest techniques and will give you confidence in classic haircuts, scissor and clipper-over-comb techniques. You'll also master beard sculpting, fading, men's grooming, customer service, retail stock management, hygiene, health and work safety practices, and more.
