The Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology (Kitchen and Bathroom) is a comprehensive apprenticeship course. It prepares you to work as a kitchen and bathroom cabinet maker. The apprenticeship gives you hands-on industry training and the opportunity to earn while you learn.

You'll work full-time with your employer as an apprentice, getting experience from the industry. You'll also learn from experienced teachers at our state-of-the-art trade facilities once every four weeks for three days. The course teaches setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machining and construction methods tailored for these essential spaces.

Master the art of woodworking with hands-on experience using a range of specialist machinery. This includes CNC machining and processing centres (rail and flatbed). Learn skills in computer-aided drawings (CAD) and computer-aided machining (CAM).

You'll work with timber, veneers, particle boards, and synthetic woods. You'll also mark out, cut, and shape timber products with precision using up-to-date current industry machines.
