Get your foot in the door as a hospitality trainee

Hospitality is a fast-paced and exciting industry. People who work in the sector are known for having strong and highly developed skills.

As a trainee, you earn while you learn and have a training contract with your employer that will provide job security. You'll undertake hands-on industry-specific training to develop skills for the workplace.

Our Certificate III in Hospitality is nationally recognised and will provide specialised training. It prepares you for various roles in restaurants, hotels, pubs, cafés and more.

You'll learn in state-of-the-art hospitality training facilities. These learning areas help you gain practical experience in student-led cafes and restaurants.

Industry-experienced teachers will guide and support you through the course. You'll take part in online and workplace assessments. And you'll have opportunities to work with industry specialists.

The course will develop your hospitality service, sales, and operation skills. It will help you gain a sound knowledge of the industry. You'll also be taught valuable techniques in using discretion and judgment.

Throughout the program, you'll have opportunities to work under limited supervision, using plans, policies, and procedures to guide work activities.

You must be employed to enrol in this course. A training contract between yourself and your employer is required.
