Learn the art of landscape construction and transform outdoor spaces
Landscape construction is a rewarding, hands-on career. It lets you use your creativity and skills to shape outdoor spaces and transform environments.
A landscape construction apprenticeship provides you with industry-specific training. It allows you to earn while you learn and provides the skills and knowledge to work in the industry. You'll work with your employer four days per week and receive hands-on training on campus one day per week.
The Certificate III in Landscape Construction will give you the expertise and confidence to handle various landscaping projects. It is a comprehensive course that prepares you for roles in residential gardens, commercial spaces, large public areas and more.
You'll gain a solid foundation in landscaping techniques, design principles, and project management. You'll learn to maintain and plant trees, lawns, flowers and hedges. And you’ll be introduced to the construction of pathways, retaining walls, pergolas, water features and other structures.
Learn from professionally experienced teachers in specialised horticulture and landscape construction facilities. Practice using industry-relevant equipment, greenhouses and glasshouses, brick and paving workshops, and excavation and digger training.
