Turn your passion for nail art into a creative and lucrative career

Being a nail technician allows you to combine your creative talents with a rewarding career. The job can offer satisfaction, flexibility and the chance to help clients feel pampered.

The Certificate III in Nail Technology provides the minimum qualification to work as a nail technician. This could mean working in a salon environment or start a business for yourself.

This course teaches you to provide services such as manicures and pedicures, acrylic, gel and dip powder nail enhancements, electric filing and basic to advanced nail art.

You'll gain industry experience and learn through hands-on training at our on-campus salon, Mysa Salon and Spa. At Mysa, you'll gain practical skills in working with real-life clients. You'll provide them with customised nail services under the supervision of our highly skilled educators.

In addition to the skills required to work within a nail services environment, we'll teach you skills in running a small business, including resourcing and marketing.

As part of this qualification, you will be required to undertake a variety of theory and practical-based assessments. Attendance is important to ensure successful completion of the course.

All skills assessments will be required to be carried out on paying members of the public. You will be responsible for sourcing your own practice and assessment models. Educators can provide guidance on how to attract models by creating engaging social media content.
