Refine your culinary talents and management skills for the hospitality industry

A job in hospitality is dynamic and rewarding. It can be a lifelong career and lead to senior roles in the industry, including management positions.

Upon successful completion of the Certificate IV in Kitchen Management, you'll be able to manage a hospitality business. You'll have skills in leading a team as a commercial kitchen supervisor or working as a professional chef in restaurants, hotels, clubs, pubs and cafes.

Our industry-experienced teachers will guide and support you through the course. You'll take part in online and workplace assessments. And you'll also receive face-to-face learning in our state-of-the-art hospitality and cookery facilities.

The course teaches practical experience working in student-led cafes and restaurants. You'll learn about food preparation and presentation, financial management, health and safety procedures and people and operations management.

As part of the course, you'll go on excursions to visit local producers. You'll also get the opportunity to network with industry specialists and participate in professional industry competitions.
