Victoria's beauty industry is thriving like never before. According to Jobs and Skills Victoria, the beauty therapy industry is growing, with 28.1% of Australia's beauty therapists in Victoria.

The Diploma of Beauty Therapy provides the advanced skills that will enable you to offer a broader range of treatments and pursue higher-paying roles. You'll gain the expertise to work as a beauty therapist, salon manager or spa therapist. You could even start your own business.

When you successfully complete this program, you'll be able to offer advanced beauty services. These can include various massage techniques, aromatherapy and reflexology. Facials, microdermabrasion and peels. Spa therapies and body treatments. Nutrition and lifestyle. And all the favourites, like manicures, pedicures, lash and brow treatments, tanning, waxing, make-up and more!

This course provides real-world experience through hands-on training at our on-campus salon, Mysa Salon and Spa. You'll gain practical skills by working with real clients. You'll provide them with customised treatments under the supervision of our experienced educators.

You'll undertake a variety of theory and practical-based assessments. Attendance is important to ensure the successful completion of this qualification.

All skills assessments will be carried out on paying members of the public. You are responsible for sourcing your own practice and assessment models. Educators can help guide you in attracting models by creating social media content.

The Diploma of Beauty Therapy can also help you pathway into a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Dermal Therapies).
