Pathways to Victoria Scholarship Program
New international student applicants of packaged programs with Chisholm Institute may now be eligible for the Pathway to Victoria scholarship. The program, funded by the Victorian Government (launched July 2021), supports international students undertaking English language or vocational (foundation) courses before beginning their principal course in Victoria.
Students must complete their supported course and continue on to their principal course in order to be eligible. Each scholarship is valued at A$2,500 and conditions apply.
International Student Academic Scholarship

Details: Academic Scholarships are offered to existing international students based on academic performance and attendance/participation. Academic scholarships are awarded annually to students following receipt of applications by students and a merit-based selection process. Students will be notified when applications open each year.
Scholarship type
Partial tuition scholarship (discount) for international students; allocated against the next semesters fees.
Eligibility
The criteria used to determine if an international student qualifies for the award of an academic scholarship includes:
- Academic results
- Attendance and participation
- Fee status
- Confirmation of Enrolment Status
- Full time study load
Students are not entitled to receive more than one academic scholarship during their studies with Chisholm and they must have passed all units in their course to date to be eligible to apply.
Application process
International students need to submit an application for the merit-based scholarship with input from their teaching area. A selection panel will recommend awards based on the number of scholarships on offer each year; and the selection criteria as set out in the Chisholm International Scholarship Policy.
International Remote Higher Education Scholarship

In order to support international students during the COVID-19 pandemic, Chisholm has introduced remote delivery of some of our more popular qualifications. Students are now able to commence their programs remotely before transitioning to Melbourne, Australia when possible.
New students commencing offshore (remote online studies) in the following courses are eligible for the remote Higher Education Scholarship:
- Bachelor of Engineering
- Bachelor of Community, Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs
Scholarship type
Partial Tuition scholarship (discount) for remote studies only for international students; allocated against the first semester of eligible remote courses.
Eligibility
International students enrolled and undertaking remote delivery (full time study load) of a higher education program with Chisholm from 2020 to 2022. It is anticipated that students will continue studies in Melbourne, Australia once possible.
Students that have already commenced any course at Chisholm and have yet to complete those studies are not eligible to apply for this scholarship. This includes students intending to transfer to a different course offered at Chisholm. It is only available to international students currently offshore enrolled in the remote program.
Application Process: Student do not need to apply. If eligible, details of the scholarship will be detailed in the offer letter. Students must pay fees in line with the offer letter to be eligible for the scholarship.
International Student Second Semester Scholarship

Scholarship Type: Partial Tuition scholarship (discount) only for international students; allocated against the second semester fees.
Eligibility
A Second Semester Scholarship is awarded to students who meet the following criteria:
- Successfully enrolled full time in a course by 1 August, 2022
- Commenced course at Chisholm before Semester 2, 2022
- No outstanding fees from previous first semester
- If a student defers, then commencement must fall within the timeframe of the promotional ‘Second Semester’ scholarship.
Application process
Student do not need to apply. If eligible, the scholarship will be applied automatically to the second semester fees.
