Play a crucial role in supporting dentists in delivering oral healthcare through a traineeship
Health care and social assistance is Australia's largest employing industry. There are many occupations in this sector that assist in the health and well-being of our communities, including dental assistants.
The Certificate III in Dental Assisting traineeship allows you to learn to be a dental assistant, combining work-based training with formal qualifications from Chisholm.
Upon successful completion of this course, you will have the knowledge and skills needed to assist a dentist, dental hygienist, or dental therapist with all health care procedures. You will also learn how to help maintain high standards of infection control and to assist with practice administration.
Traineeships are a great way to be paid for work, learn and earn a qualification. You must be employed in a dental practice and have a training contract between yourself and your employer to enrol.
We offer this program throughout Melbourne and regional areas within Victoria.
Trainee timetable is flexible and students can be enrolled at any time. Please contact the department for further information nursingandAH@chisholm.edu.au
The information on the page is for trainees only. View the non-traineeship version of this course.
