Chisholm completed the Dandenong Re-Stack project in 2025, delivering an accelerated program to enhance campus facilities and modernise learning spaces across multiple buildings.
During Term 1, major upgrades were completed in Buildings G, R (Level 2) and W, providing high-quality teaching spaces and improved learning environments for both staff and students. The works included the refurbishment of 17 general purpose classrooms and two computer laboratories, along with the construction of six new classrooms.
Updated classrooms in Buildings G and W were configured to support programs in English as an Additional Language (EAL), Community Services and Youth Work, Engineering Technology and Early Childhood Education. In Building R, refurbished classrooms supported delivery of Electrotechnology, Mobile Plant Technology, Light Vehicle and Engineering Technology programs, from Certificate II through to Bachelor-level courses.
Further enhancements were delivered in Semester 2 with upgrades completed in Building R (Level 1) and Building V. These works introduced new facilities for Electric Vehicle and Light Vehicle practical training, expanded spaces for engineering equipment and enhanced areas for electrical training. Building V was reconfigured to include eight dedicated teaching spaces, each designed to accommodate up to 16 apprentices.
The project also included a refresh of staff areas in Buildings R and W delivering 59 workstations, five offices, two communal kitchens and three meeting rooms to support more functional and collaborative work environments.
The completion of the Dandenong Re-Stack project marked a significant milestone in strengthening teaching and learning facilities and supporting the evolving needs of students, staff and industry.
