As a school leaver, an experienced tradesperson, or a technician looking to upskill, the Diploma of Engineering - Technical will help you succeed in an evolving sector.

Upon successful completion of this course, you'll be able to work in technical engineering areas, including metal, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, engineering drafting, and related disciplines.

The course provides the opportunity to develop theoretical knowledge and technical skills across a broad field of technical work and learning.

You'll learn from industry-experienced teachers through a combination of theory and current hands-on training in our state-of-the-art specialised workshops.

The course will cover how to analyse, interpret, and communicate engineering information effectively and sustainable work practices. You'll master electives like operating computer-aided design systems (CAD) to produce drawing elements, 2D drawings and 3D models, implement processes using PLCs, project coordination, and much more.

As a nationally accredited qualification, this course can also help you pathway into a Bachelor of Engineering degree at Chisholm's Higher Education College.
